Hello,

I am running WinXP Home with SP2 on a laptop, and I would like to know
if it is possible to connect to a wireless network or bring up the
"View Available Wireless Networks" window from the command prompt or a
batch file. I am using a D-Link Air DWL-650 wireless card. It came
with a program called D-Link Air Utility, but that seems to be
strictly GUI-based.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Have you consulted the capability of the net command?

I have looked into it a little bit, but I am not sure which commands
would be appropriate. The descriptions for several of the commands say
that the computer needs to be a server, which is not the case for my
laptop.

Thanks for the help, but can you please be more specific?

This is possible, if you don't mind to write some code,
or maybe D-Link support could help you.
