Connect to VPN with 733 error in Windows 2003

Are you using the DHCP option for the client to get IP address? If yes, in
case the DHCP server is not reachable then you get the error 733. Try using
a static address pool and see if the problem still persists.

Hi all
I have a Windows 2003 server and deploy it as a VPN server, I use Custom
setup, for there is only one network adapter in my machine, but when I
connect to it in Windows 2000, when "Registering your computer on the
network", a popup shows that "TCP/IP reported error 733: Your computer and
the remote computer could not agree on PPP control protocols.", and I have
no idea on it, I'd appreciate as much detail as you could provide.
