Connect to service.spynet.com

Using XP Professional and Microsoft AntiSpyware, every few
days a window pops up with the title "Connect to
service.spynet.com" asking for a username and password.

Does anyone know what program is causing this?

I've tried searching for service.spynet.com and get
nothing. I can't go to http://service.spynet.com/ but if I
go to spynet.com I'm redirected to Microsoft's AntiSpyware
web site.

Any ideas?

Spynet.com is the source of definitions for Microsoft Antispyware.

Have you ever had Giant's Antispyware product installed on this machine?

What about Sunbelt's Counterspy?

Any chance that spynet.com is blocked by an entry in your hosts file?
