Hi. All

is there any way remotely connect to Local Security Policy.
There is no proper snap-in in the MMC console (only Group Policy).

best regards
Oleg

Hi Oleg-

There is no way to do this outside of an open active session to/at that
machine (Start->Run->SECPOL.MSC). This is a good protective measure for
security reasons, though there are methods to remotely change some settings
that can be specified in local security policy.

Was there a specific issue you were running into that we can help with?

Yes.
I want each user to log on locally onle to his specific computer (about 100
workstations). Now every user included in some global group. This group has
"Log on Locally" rights in "Default Domain Controller Policy". I need to
assign one user "Log on locally" right in corresponding Local Security
Policy (one user for one computer) and then delete global group from "Log on
Locally" rights in "Default Domain Controller Policy".

Best regards
Oleg
