Is there a way to get my connect speed when on line (dialup)? My connection
is thru a host which shows it readily.

If you hover your mouse over the connection icon down there in your system
tray you will see the connection speed.

When I do that I get "Internet Gateway - Unconfigured"
I have been very hesitant to get in to 'Configuring" my Gateway (whatever
that is.) It took everybody on this list, and about 3 months of steady
effort, to get my network operational in the first place. Host is an Win
XP. The whole process was a certified disaster. Actually, never got it to
work until I switched to a crossover cable, and got a 'common' printer out
of the network.
If you want to tackle configuring my gateway, I'm game, but understand what
we're getting into.
