connect local drives question

I have the new rdp client and I checked the box that says
connect local drives, but in the session, they do not show
up in windows explorer. Where are they, and how do they
appear, since there would be two C: drives?

Thank you, I do have win2K server, so I downloaded the
Drmapsrv.exe hotfix from workthin (a very useful site!)
but the documentation isn't clear, do I run it on the
server and client, or just the server?

Thanks, I'd actually recommend using TSDropcopy, which works with the latest Remote Desktop Client, as the 2000 reskit utilities require you to use the 5.0

TSDropcopy is available on the same download page

This function can be disabled (or enabled) at the server. Did you check there first?

Actually it can NOT. Dlw stated in his second post that they're using Win2K Terminal Server, which doesn't natively support local drive redirection

Only the hotfix for drmapsrv.exe is downloadable. The original
drmapsrv.exe is part of the Resource Kit.
