Your office Mac is running XP!
Are you using Virtual PC? If you are, try it and see! Depending on how the
software on the Mac interfaces the XP networking with the OS X networking it
might work. But then again, maybe not. I don't know as I would never bother
with Virtual PC.
You could also use the remote desktop app for OS X http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/networking_security/remotedesktopconnectionclient.html
It will only work from the Mac to home though, not the other way around.
