Confusion about Address Book vs Contacts in Outlook 2002

I'm missing some concept here. Don't understand the differences between Address Book and Contacts. Specifically my problem is that I've moved Outlook.pst file from one computer to another (Win 2000 to XP sp1) and I now have no entries in my address book. Everything else from the pst file is there including all my contacts. But the Address List is empty. There is no doubt an easy way to move the contacts back into the Address Book, whatever in the world that even means. Thanks for any clarifications

The Outlook Address Book is merely a transport service that permits your
Contacts to be displayed in an address book format. So you simply need to
add the service, then tell it which Contact Folder(s) to display. If you
don't know how, post your Outlook version, not your operating system.
