This was one suggested fix...

We had the same problem.We ran Norton Win Doctor and then restarted. Cleared
it up no probs. I think it just has to do with a faulty registry mod from
when you plug into any network.

Are you sure about file or process?
Is it Dw, dwin, ?



The biggest possibility is that it is part of Downloadware, which has also
been know to cause this error message. Running Ad-aware may help if it is
not listed in add/remove in the Control Panel. This page also offers some

DW.exe is also the name of an MS utility included with IE6, or as a separate
download for IE5.5. It is used for error reporting. See this article about

It is also included with OfficeXP.

On another note, it could also be symptomatic of a viral infection. This
