Confused with AIW 9600

I've read the manual that came with the AIW 9600 but don't see any clear
instructions in it.

I have a satelliete dish. I have placed cables in the audio/video out. I
have connected these to the in slots on the purple bar that connects into
the back of the AIW card.

I have then installed all the software that came with the card.

What do I need to do now to view the picture on the computer screen?

Click on "TV" on the bar that appears on the right side of the screen, then
pick the composite or S-video input, depending on which you have the cable
connected to.

Is that because I've got a satellite dish hooked up instead of cable?

If your dish requires a converter box then you need to connect the output of
that box to the AIW, set the AIW TV app to the channel the box requires and
use the box to tune in stations rather than the AIW.

Probably. If you can't tune the satellite channels with the tuner in a
regular TV then the AIW can't tune them either. Don't know what service
you're using, but with DirecTV tuning has to be by the DirecTV box.

There's no need to do the autoscan to set up the TV application.

Most sattelites need a reciever to work. Connect reciever to AiW, but that
means changing channels manually. Or you might wanna buy a sattelite tuner
card for pc.
