eweek.com:
"Microsoft began notifying customers Tuesday that it has established
new deadlines regarding how long they will be able to block Windows XP
Service Pack 2 from downloading automatically to their systems."
Ok. What's this "able to block".
Is at some point it NOT possible to prevent auto updating the XP
machines with SP2? I'm concerned with this "able" or "not able" to
block.
I upgrade the machines when and if I please to. Preferrably not on
monday for instance. I can not have Microsoft force a mega-download
and run their upgrade behind the scenes without getting my permission.
Could someone shed some light on this?
