Conflicts within network

Can any one tell me is there a conflict , sharing issue between Fat32 and
NTFS on a network. I have four computers on one intranet the XP and 2000
machine run ok but the two ME machines are either very slow or completeley
drop out or the system and have to be cold booted to get them back on line.
Sometimes it takes two or three attempts of cold booting to get them back on
line

File system is irrelevent when networking windows computers. All windows
file systems network with each other.
