Has anyone run into any problems or conflicts with MSA and
AV scanner's RTM? I didseveral simple tests and found no
issues. I'm sure many are doing similar things.

Is MS testing this tool against AV scanners for
compatibility?

If the RTM of both the AV tool and MSA are running
simulteanously, is it the operating system that is
breaking potential "deadlocks" or is there something in
the MSA code?

As far as I know, they have, and they do not conflict with
Norton, McAfee, ZoneLabs, Panda, EZ-Trust. There may be a
few more, but I have not come across any problems with any
conflicts.

There's been at least one post here indicating a perceived performance issue
when scanning with Microsoft Antispyware, when the AV apps real-time
scanning was also active.

I don't recall the specific a/v involved, and haven't noticed other users
posting the same issue.

all i can say is do not disable your antivirus and
firewall when microsoft antispyware is active.

Microsoft Antispyware probably works with the newest
antivirus and firewall version.

Trust me microsoft is doing there best to make microsoft
antispyware compatible with all the popular antivirus and
firewall application like Norton, Mcafee, Zonealarm,
eztrust. so far i haven't found any compatibility issue
with my norton security application.
