Conflict between MS Antispyrware and Ad-aware?

I have Ad-aware installed. I may also have spyware (IE is acting up, I cannot
change the setting for which site to start when I open it). I have been
advised to install MS Antispyware and run it. Before I do that, I would like
to know whether there could be any conflicts this software and Ad-aware? Does
anybody out there have any advice on this?
 
I use MSAS to clean up a machine along side Ad-aware. Just make sure both
programs are updated and that you do a full scan
 
If you are using the paid version of ad-aware that involves some real-time
protection, it is wise to turn that feature off while installing Microsoft
Antispyware.

Otherwise, I don't think there are conflicts. Many people here run both
applications, although I find that I run ad-aware less and less as time goes
on.
