Confirmation Page - Check boxes

I want to display the results of a checkbox as a checkbox. Is this possible?
the value of the checkbox is 1 when checked. Therefore, instead of the user
seeing a 1 - I want them to see a checkbox or a different term, however I
cannot change the value assigned to the checkbox.
 
Require using server-side scripting (ASP, ASP.net, PHP, etc.) to process the form and display a
confirmation page.
