Hell
We have already running a configured a primary public DNS for which is hosted on our rack optimsised server in a nearby data centre, we wish to setup a secondary public DNS (as failover) in our office rack which has a 1mb line. I've started the setup and got DNS server service running on the secondary server but do i have to create 'STANDARD SECONDARY' zones manually for every one on the primary?
I have created a couple and managed to get the secondary to grab records for these zones from the primary but I would have thought there is an easier way to do this, basically i just want the servers to sync so that evertime i create a 'STANDARD PRIMARY ZONE' on the primary server the 'STANDARD SECONDARY ZONE' is created on the second server in the office.
Please help??
Idiots guide please as i'm not a true IT gury just a mortle web designer... ;-)
kind regards,
Martin (UK)
