Hi,
I edited the advance tab to access the control setting for
remote desktop protocol for TCP, checked for full control,
gave access to querry, set information, reset, remote
control, logon, logoff and the rest. All this was done
using administrator right.
An error message was generated telling me that Unable to
save auditing changes to RDP-TCP......."unspecified error"
Ideally, if I got through without this error message, i
would have been able to activate romote setup from the
terminal service manager. But activating terminal service
manager resulted in "inactive mode in the terminal
service ACTIONS menu bar options when clicked. The remote
control, connect, reset,logof,disconnect, send message
were not activated
Mind you, I am working from the server-end wanting to
remote a client machine on another floor without running
arouuuud on the lift!. Since I am logged on as the
administrator, I cannot understand why those errors kept
on flashing
I know you can help
Thanks to Harris for his initial response
