I've recently installed Outlook 2002 on my new computer,
but cannot remember how to configure my email account to,
well, retrieve my emails and send as well. Under the
account maintenance screen where it asks for your login
name, password, pop3 server, smtp server; I try to run the
test option from that screen, and get failures in
accessing the pop3 server as well as the SMTP server.
What specifically am I suppose to type in these two spaces
so that I can perform this function properly?

You need to type in whatever your mail account uses - have you contacted
your ISP? You need to find out your login name, password, POP server, SMTP
server, and whether your SMTP server requires authentication. Your ISP
should be able to help.

You need to get this information from your ISP - most have the instructions
for the smtp and POP3 servers prominently displayed on their web page.

Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.
