configuring Office etc.

For compatibility reasons I have both Word 2003 and Word 2007 on my computer,
as well as both versions of Excel.
Everytime I start Word 2003 I get the "Preparing To Install" screen from the
Windows Installer.
When I start Word 2007 I get "Configuring Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007"

Then the programs start fine. How can I get rid of this annoying delay?
