Configuring folder options?

G

Guest

Hi!
I have some problems with Folders Options:File Types:
1: How do I delete some of the alternative actions for
file types? I cant delete them right away cause they are in grey.

2: The action open in Folders and File Folders has the wrong
program associated with them. What program should I associate
open with? I tried Windows Explorer but the path to it wasnt
recognised by my computer, even though I browsed to it.

Getting this right would be great! Thanks!

How to change which program starts when you double-click a file in
Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307859

Are you seeing file extensions? Uncheck Hide file extensions for known
file types in Folder Options, View,.

Hope this helps.

Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly
