Gary

I have a small home office network. I have wireless high-
speed Internet and I am using a D-Link DI604 4 port router
to firewall the network.

I am using 3 ports of the router. I have 2 workstations
and 1 printer plugged into the DI604. The printer is a HP
LaserJet 4 with a JetDirect 2552b network adapter.

I need to be able to send print jobs to this printer from
outside my network, (from a clients house or business). I
tried setting the printer up as a Virtual Port on the
router but either I didn't do it right or it didn't work.

I am looking for the correct documentation or assistance
in setting this up.

Please and thank you. :)

You'll need some way to connect to your home network first - VPN seems a
likely option for you. Don't know about your linksys, but you can try a
VPN-capable router like a NetGear FVS318....
