Configure Schedule for Site Replication

Hi,

Iam reading the documentation to set the schedule
adequate to use between 2 sites that i have, my question
is, the option = (replicate every); example: 180 minutes
obviously the site link is available to replicate
directory partition every 3 hours, However i have the
option (Change Schedule) for site link, i have to set a
schedule for site replication is not enough to set every
xx hours, somebody have a schedule recommendation to
replicate between two sites

Hello,

It all depends on how much bandwidth you have available between the sites
and how important is it that both sites be as up to date as possible. DFS
plays an important role. how frequently is AD being updated is also key.
The number of users, exchange servers, etc. all play a key factor, can you
provide a little more information.

ok,

In the second site we are going to have a DC to valid
some users (20 users) and network services for some iis
servers (5 servers) those servers with our business pages
only for backup reasons. So i think replication every 12
hours could be good or every 6 hours ?
Is difficult to take a decision about it

If you have a T1 point-to-point then 30 minutes/45minutes/1 hour is okay.
Anything slower try 2 hours. If these settings cause any problems then
change them. Trial and error always works... :)
