configure outlook (exchange server)

Hi,

I have configured a clients outlook: I entered the exchange server name and
the name of the user.
When I pressed check names those two things became underlined.

That's all that needs to be done to configure outlook is it? I did it with a
lot of other users and there it works fine.

With this one there's a problem: It works to send mails but he can't receive
mails and he doesn't see the previous mails he received. If I look at the
webmail, everything is OK so it look's like it is a setting of oulook???

Anybody knows what I can do?

I'm thinking of reinstalling outlook but I prefer another solution....
 
You might want to verify that there are *no* personal folder files added to
the profile and/or the default delivery location is set to the Exchange
mailbox. (I sometimes find that people setup Outlook for POP3/IMAP first
and then add Exchange later. This tends to throw the inexperience user off
and produce undesirable expectations.)

Open Outlook, Tools > Email Accounts > View/Change existing email accounts >
next button and then the dropdown should be at the bottom left.
