Hi there,
I'm looking for an example on how to use a .prf (or other
type) file to auto-configure Outlook clients. Here's what
I need as far as options:
IMAP
PST storage
Outlook Address Book
I do not have an Exchange server and we use IMAP in
conjunction with a remote (in AZ) web-based email server.
I would like to be able to execute this when a user logs
onto a workstation for the 1st time, or as an alternative,
from a shortcut or intranet web page. If possible, I'd
like the user's email account ([email protected])
to be part of the file so the user doesn't have to enter
this info.
Has anyone done this or have any insight on how to do
this - I see references to IMAP when reading about PRF
files, but can't find any syntax references for IMAP in a
PRF file.
Thanks as always
