Hello,
I am trying to configure our company server to accept www request, our
domain name is www.weswill.com, the name servers are NS1.WESWILL.COM and
NS2.WESWILL.COM. I configured the name servers to point to our server by
entering our static ip address. installed dns on the server, followed the
prompt but it didn't work, please what should I do next.

Your server is not responding. Here's a quick nslookup I did on
ns1.weswill.com
weswill.com
Server: [63.231.14.225]
Address: 63.231.14.225

DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.

I noticed that ns1.weswill.com and ns2.weswill.com are the same IP address,
63.231.14.225. According to the registrar, you must have two separate DNS
servers on different IP addresses for hostname servers.

You did not post any configuration info, so I am assuming some stuff below.

Is 63.231.14.225 a firewall or NAT? I am assuming it's a NAT device, since
you can only port remap one incoming port to one internal IP address. You
must port re-map to allow TCP and UDP 53 to the internal DNS.

Do you have Active Directory as well? If so, and the DNS server that is
hosting this data is also your AD DNS, and the weswill.com name is the same
internally, you need to have separate servers hosting private and public
data, assuming it is on a private subnet.

I'm assuming alot. Maybe if you can answer some of my questions, and give us
a little more info, we can better help.
