G400 can't display the PC BIOS screen, starting to display in DOS mode

... that's why I was asking if it is possible to configure the PC BIOS
from DOS or WINDOWS (any other solution welcome!)

I take it by your comments that you use the TV-out on the video card or
the output gets switched into a "TV mode" which goes to the television
but that output is not usable until the driver to support that
functionality gets loaded by Windows, and then it is too late to modify
BIOS settings. Well, you could by a used or slight-defect 15" CRT
monitor at eBay for $20 (but remember to add the shipping cost), check
with a local store on the price for a used small-sized monitor, or hit
the garage sales. If the monitor looks garbled because it doesn't
understand TV mode, you'll have to switch it to monitor mode in Windows
(assuming the card doesn't start up by default in its hardware in non-TV
mode). You wouldn't need to leave it hooked up but instead just when
you needed to change the BIOS, which shouldn't be often, and then store
it again until next time you need it. If there is a output from the
video card, it is usually used for the *second* video device which means
there is a *first* video device, too.
