Dear Roady,
When I click , tools, service - then a wizard appears like
when you configure outlook express - a dialog box will
appear with mail, news, directory etc.. I am getting the
same thing. Normally this is not the outlook 2000
configuration under services. I have installed outlook
under admministrator and later under user(but in both the
cases service configuration is as same).

Anver

Hi Anver,

We have talked about this before a while ago. I remember you also
re-installed Internet Explorer with Outlook Express already
Can you check in what mode you are running Outlook 2000? Make sure it is set
to Corporate/Workgroup (since you are running Exchange am I right?)
Are you privileged to own an Outlook 2002 or 2003 CD as well? You can then
install these onto the machine to see if this makes any differences (it
should). If you don't have enough licenses for an upgrade you can downgrade
the client again to Outlook 2000 in CW mode. Don't forget Serice Pack 3 and
the available hotfixes.
Not a direct solution but if it works it will keep you from reinstalling the
machine.

Dear Roady,
If I need to set Corporate/Workgoup model the oulook
configuration settings should appear isn't it. I am unable
to set any of the settings other than Internet Email that
also not an oulook configuration, it looks like an outlook
express configuration. I am using MMserver outlook 2002
and 2003 never support this feature. I am totally
restricted with outlook 2000.
Any other solution Roady.

Best Regards
Anver

Hi Anver,
The installation of a newer version of Outlook is not to make the connection
to the MMserver but just to make sure the Mail configuration in Control
Panel gets an update and is working correctly (to rule out a bigger problem
with the system). Once you see that the Mail function has changed correctly
in the Control Panel you should downgrade to Outlook 2000 again and make
sure you install it in CW mode,

Hi Anver,

Great to hear this are (finally) working again. What happened in the first
place is a bit hard to tell but it's got to do with something that probably
isn't initially replaced/installed by the installer. I haven't come accross
this yet.
Regards,
