I am unable to install the audio drivers for Windows Vista 64 build 5384. I
have a Conexant AC-Link Audio device, and it worked fine for WinXP, but Vista
64 was unable to install it. When I search from my drivers CD (that came
with my laptop) and online for the drivers, it tells me the same thing. It
tells me quote:
"Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error
while attempting to install it. (Conexant AC-Link Audio) The system cannot
find the file specified."
It says the same thing for my mass storage and PCI modem devices. I suppose
I should shoot off an email to these respective companies since I did not
find drivers on their sites as well, just to give them a heads up on it. But
any help here would be greatly appriciated.
