i cant figure out what to type in the incoming and outgoing adresses (pop3)
and (smtp)

If your email address ends in @live.com or @hotmail.com see
http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!CC9301187A51FE33!49799.entry
Use port 587 rather than port 25 for the SMTP server.

Although it accepts the newer Live.com addresses, Windows Mail's
account setup wizard is hard-coded to reject Hotmail and MSN addresses.
To get around that, when you enter your Hotmail/MSN email address initially,
use a fake one, such as (e-mail address removed). After the account setup is complete,
go back and correct your email address.

Windows Live Mail is an e-mail client, not a server. Gmail, Hotmail,
Comcast, Yahoo, etc., are servers. Who is yours?

BTW, this newsgroup is for Windows Mail in Vista. Windows Live Mail is a
different e-mail client with a different newsgroup.

Windows Live Mail [Desktop] Newsgroup.

In your newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

On the Web:

What matters is who provided you with your email address (your mail
service provider).
What is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Or do you not have an email address?
