Conditions on a form field

How do I set a condition on a form field to calculate only when certain
criteria (from another field on the form) are met? (Access 2002)
 
Your question is not detailed enough for us to give you a meaningful
response. Please post more details about what you're doing now and what you
want to happen.

Note that a form does not have fields; it has controls. The form's Recordset
has fields, though.
