Subject: conditional Text

How does one implement conditional text in Word? I would like to create a document for several somewhat different audiences.

Using bookmarks or document properties to hold your test condition and IF
fields to test those conditions and produce your text.

Where does the condition come from?

Depending upon the answer to that, you may be able to use an
If...Then...Else field in conjunction with either fixed text or IncludeText
fields.

Hope this helps.

Take a look at http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/PageNumbering.htm for
an example of using IF fields.
