does anyone know how to copy conditional formulas so that
the first and last ranges remains constant??

what ranges are you refering to... somthing in the
formula? To make any Excel range or cell reference
absolute, try cycling F4 while it is highlighted in the
formula.
A1 is dymanic
$A$1 is absolute - it never changes when copied
$A1 is absolute for column but the row is dynamic..
and etc
