I have set up a conditional format to bold a field on a report if a certain
criteria is met. It works perfect except if there is more than three lines
of text, it will not expand (grow) it will only shows two lines and the third
line is blank.

Does anyone know why this happens or can help me correct this?

Open the report in design view.

Select the control.

Open the Properties window and find the CanGrow and CanShrink properties ...
and set to "Yes".

I did that still doesn't work, I have the report set up where it prints in
two columns. It will work if I just set it to change the color, but it will
not work if it is set to bold. Seems like if the item is in the left column
it will only grow to two lines and then leaves the third line blank. if it
is in the right hand column it only shows one line and leaves the second line
blank.

Not sure why this is happening.
