conditional formatting question

suppose i have a worksheet with the following

numeric value in E1
text in F1

when "x" is placed in F1 the value in E1 is duplicated in G1

is there a way that when F1 is blank (no X) to have a different cell color
background in G1

will apreciate any feedback

- goto 'Format - Conditional Format'
- enter the following formula
=E1<>"X"
- choose a format
