Conditional Formatting flickers

In my adp project, I added a conditional format to a time textbox in a
"Continuous Forms" form - in essence if the field; greater or equal; "July
5, 2004"; fore color = red, while in "form view" and the form displays all
the records correctly, including the "red" values. If I save and reopen the
form, the form continuously cycles the field values so they flicker and are
unreadable. I tried setting the "has module" to No, just in case there was
a funny interaction, but no change. Is this a bug in Access 2003 and is
there a workaround?

The form is essentially a tabular view of a query generated by the wizard.

I, too, am encountering the same issue. We have just
upgraded to Access 2003 from Access 2000. Our application
uses conditional formatting on some forms to show colours
green or red depending on cell values. The forms flicker
continuously with the word "Calculating" on the status bar
at the bottom of the page. This issue was not experienced
using the same application in Access 2000. (I've read
other notes that suggest avoiding the issue by not using
conditional formatting; however, I hope someone from
Microsoft reads this as the issue would appear to be quite
fundamental to Access 2003 functionality.)
