Conditional Formatting Combo Box Issue

Hi there,

I've got two combo boxes setup, one which has 3 initial options and a second
which has further options based on the selection made in the first. In total
this gives me 6 final options.

The second Combo Box outputs numbers 1 to 6 in the selected cell as expected.

My issue is that I want to use conditional formatting to link to the number
output by the second combo box to colour other cells. I've been reading on
here and know how the formula works etc but for some reason the conditional
formatting doesn't want to recognise the number output by the second combo
box and therefore does not work!

Is there any way around this or am I missing something?!

Thanks in advance.
