Conditional formatting based on other cells value

Is it possible to conditional format a cell based on another cells value ?
Ie.

If A40 contains "BARCODE" then N40 should turn green ?

Maybe I should be alittle more clear...Go to Format|Conditional Formatting.
Then, in the drop down for the first condition select "Formula Is". Enter
this formula:

=A40="BARCODE"

then select your format by clicking the "Format..." button.
