Conditional Formatting and Subforms

Here's a weird one...

I have a field on my subform that I am using Conditional formatting for.
When the field is >0 and another field on the same record on the subform is
<1, it highlights red.

I want the last condition to highlight the field in another color when the
field is >0 and another field on the main form is null or "".

How do I enter the syntax to check a field on the parent form?
