Conditional formatting and calculated percentages

I am getting unexpected results when I apply conditional formatting to a
calculation for percentages. I currently have "Field value is greater than
1" because the format is percent. Any percentage that is nn.nn is being
ignored, as I wished; any value that is nnn.nn is being highlighted, as I
wished. It is the single digits that are the problem (ie., n.nn). Any
result below 10% is being highlighted and I do NOT want that.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I just tried it and it worked as expected. Percents below 10%, such as 1.1%,
were not highlighted. You may want to place a textbox (temporarily) next to
this textbox and set it to General Number for the format instead of Percent,
just to double check what is really in the field. It is also possible that
the textbox is corrupted, in which case you'll need to delete it and create
a new one. Also, make sure that you don't have any code that may be applying
this highlight and overriding the Conditional Formatting.

Wayne,

Thanks for the idea; I tried adding the General Number text box. Other than
the one value that just happens to be 100%, all the other values were
highlighted, regardless of being above or below 100.

Code? Me? Not likely. And I did try the deleting and re-adding of the
field, but got the same results.

Any thoughts for a work-around??

Thanks!

2 Number data type fields are added together resulting in a calculation
called Total (no format). The Total field is divided by another Number data
type field called Budget. The resulting field is a Percent format.

Ideas?

Sorry, I don't have any more ideas. As I mentioned earlier, it is working
properly here. You can send me a copy of the file at (e-mail address removed) if
you want to. Let me know where to look (which report and textbox).

After Wayne was able to get my report to work correctly using Access 2003, I
purchased the 2003 version; I had been using Access 2000. Once I installed
it my report came out exactly as I wished.

Thanks for the help and information, Wayne!
