Conditional formatting a list box?

I want to apply conditional formatting to certain records in a List Box, but
I see that MS in their infinite wisdom chose to deprive that control of the
feature. I'd use a combo, which DOES have conditional formatting ability,
except that I need to display several records at a time in the list. I
reall that in VB6 I was able to get a combo to emulate a list box, but I
don't seem to be able to do that in Access 2003.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks,

The first thing that comes to mind is to try and find a 3rd party control
that will let you do what you want. If you still have VB6 on your system,
some of the VB controls will work in Access. To get to them, use the "more
controls" button on the toolbox. Whether or not the VB combo box will work
in Access, I don't know.

Thanks Wayne.

I'm doing this for a client so 3rd party controls may be problematic. I was
hoping for a 100% Access solution. I'm really surprised and disappointed
that the list control was shortchanged this way.
