Conditional formating in Excel

I am setting up a roster on excel. There are 6 possible
start times for staff and I would like to format each
start time with a different colour, eg, 9am blue, 10am
green, 1pm yellow, 5pm red etc.

Conditional formating would work well, except it only
allows 3 conditions and I need 6.

Can anyone advise if there is another way of achieving
this?

Hi Alison,
Conditional Formatting works so much nicer because it doesn't
matter whether the value changes because of calculation of a
formula, or whether a direct entry of a changed value.
