Conditional formating and VBA

Is there a way to set up conditional formating using VBA? I'm trying to
dynamically change the background color of certain fields.

The alternate method is to use backcolor property, which works fine in form
view, but not at all in datasheet view.

Thanks for your post. I downloaded the mdb. I also have found an
interesting blog at
http://blogs.msdn.com/frice/archive/2004/06/08/151178.aspx.

It appears the FormatCondition is the object I was looking for to get
program access for format highlighting. I believe it should work for both
form and datasheet views.
