Hi,

Does anyone know of bugs/situations in Access XP which causes a continuous
form or datasheet which contains controls with conditional formatting to
enter a loop continually repainting the display? As soon as the mouse moves
away from a control with conditional formatting the loop is broken.

I have had this several times, with no login as to when it happens. Although
it often happens when the form is opened, I have had instances of it
occurring spontaneously later if the form requeried. I currently have a
datasheet which does this. I have read KB article 555033 but none of the
conditions listed there apply.

Thanks for any help as always,

Jim F.

Hi Arvin,

I have had this a few times with XP, when several controls in my form have
conditional formatting. At present, I have a subform which is doing this: it
is shown in datasheet view, there are 7 bound fields, all set with
conditional formatting for when each field has the focus. The main form
which the subform sits on only has a couple of command buttons.

I have also had this happen with other files on other pc's , so it is not an
isolated experience. If you have time, could I send you the file to look at?

Many thanks,
Jim
