I have a worksheet with data in cols A - L. I would like to conditionally
format each row based on wheter (or not) text is in the cell of col D. If
text is in cell of col D, the color of row = green. If no text in cell of col
D, no color.

Select Row A to L

conditional formatting

formula is =$D2<>""

then select the formatting .. green etc

Thanks. I input this in the formula is and only the first 2 cells of the row
were highlighted. Any suggestions?

Select A2 to L2 or the whole row
then start the conditional formatting

Thanks all. Now, how can I "copy" this conditional formatting to each row of
the worksheet without manually creating the same format function?

Never mind the last request, I failed to use the "$". Is there any way to
apply this conditional format function to each row of the worksheet (approx
50 rows of data)?

Select All conditionally formatted cells in row and pull down as you copy a
normal formula.
