If you aren't inserting rows, and you just want to have the lines added when
a new entry is added, just set up conditional formatting for the range where
the entries will be, so that when something is put into the cell, it will
add borders. You will also set up the formula so that the cell will lose the
borders on bottom or top when it is no longer the last item in the column,
if that is one of your issues. If you are inserting rows, this still should
work as long as you aren't inserting them below the range you set up for
conditional formatting. You can do this by using a formula in the
conditional formatting dialog.

As the data grows is there a way to cause the Border Styles to grow as well?
What I want is to have the lines to grow as more records (rows) are added to
the sheet.
