Conditinal Reporting

Have a query that prompts for a date. Works fine. A report based on the
query prompts for the date and for every field on the report. How do I get
the report to stop prompting for criteria other than the date

This is very strange. What is the setting of the Record Source property
of your Report... is it set to the name of the query?
 
Source is the Query name.
Recognizing that an idiot keeps doing the same thing and expects different
results, I took out the prompt on the query and put it back in again. The
query continues to work and now so does the report. I assume this was pilot
error and I appreciate your help.
