Hi, currently i'm running Windows 2000 server with AD domain authentication
and all my clients are running Windows XP (SP2).

Is there a way for me to restrict my users so that they can only logon to
one pc at one time using their username. This means that if they're going to
logon to another pc using the same user account then they'll have to logoff
the current session.

or

can the system be setup such way that if it detects that a username is being
used then they'll be restricted to logon unless the existing session is
logged off.

There is a piece of software, written by a third part that runs on Windows
AD 2003 that will do this and it is free. Although Microsoft didn't write
it, they do have it written up on their TechNet web site at:

I have never used it but the details point to 2003, so I have to believe it
only works on 2003.
