Concatenation error

Sometimes when I concatenate two or more fields I get an
#Error message on my report; however, when I test the
fields alone, they view fine. I have tried several ways
of entering the data - with the builder, cutting and
pasting, typing directly into the box, so I don't think
this is just a matter of entering the wrong calculation
in the control. This only happens sometimes with some
fields. It seems very random but I know nothing is
random in Access, right?

That error means that ACCESS cannot properly calculate the concatenation.
You'd need to give us an example of a concatenation that is showing this
error for us to give some suggestions.

90% of the time this is due to leave the control name the same as the name
of a field. Change the text box name to something like "txtWhatever".
