Hi All

I have a "Solicitation for Quotes" sheet for road construction
projects.

In cell C2, I have a formula which joins or concatenates 30 cells
below it. The join is as such........ &", "&

In cells C3 thru C 33 I have listed various types of work.

My problem is this.

If I list 30 types of work, everything looks fine, but I list only 10
types of work I then get 20 commas with a space, after the last work.
type.
How can I loose the unused commas?

Thanks for your help

Hi Tom
one way:
- download the free add-in Morefunc.xll (http://longre.free.fr/english)
- it includes the function MCONCAT
use it like
=MCONCAT(A1:X1,",")
as long as the last cell contains a value this will produce no double
comas.
