Compying audio files

How will i copy cd audio files directly to *.mp3 format? Using Windows Media
Player will copy this to *.wma.

Please help me on this one because converting *.wma to *.mp3 makes me sick.

CDex. Google for the sourceforge link.
 
If yuo're using Windows Media player 11 then just under the 'Rip' tab there's
a small arrow, click this and you get the options, from the 'Format' option
select MP3 and you're done.
